Thankfulness

Thanksgiving

In November, here in the USA, we celebrate Thanksgiving. A Holiday of remembrance of the Pilgrims and Indians sharing the harvest of feast and fellowship.

Thanksgiving is also a time when modern families of today come together for a meal and share their thankfulness.

For November, I want to focus and bring to mind things to be thankful for.

Ann Voskamp, a well-known blogger, wrote a book called “One Thousand Gifts.” Her book encourages you to embrace a lifestyle of radical gratitude and slow down to catch God in the moment. Her beautiful poetry has me thinking about finding a thousand reasons to be grateful for every moment of my life.

So, for November, I will look and write out as many things I am grateful for.

I encourage you to take time, find as many things you are thankful for, and show appreciation to the one you are most grateful for—our Beloved, Heavenly Father.

In every moment of your day, look for a reason to be grateful and show your appreciation to our Heavenly Father. Open your hands and raise your arms toward the one who has given us the right to live and the reason to be grateful.

Let’s take up the challenge together and write out as many things we can find to be grateful and see how many reasons we can write down.

I will give thanks and praise the Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds. Psalms 9:1 (AMP)

One of the gifts I can write on my grateful list is you. I am thankful for having you as my reader and appreciate you reading my posted content. You are a blessing in my life, and I hope I can be a blessing in your life.
