Kristi Muszik A podcast is playing through the speakers of my car as I am driving through town. Teaching from one of my spiritual fathers is pouring through the speakers. My ears are filled with teachings of faith feeding my spirit.
I read that highly successful individual uses their commute time to listen to motivation teachings or audio books. Also known as Audio University.
Us believers can grow and mature in the Lord daily through listening to the teachings of God’s Word along with our time of reading His word.
We can grow so much if we only listen to teaching at church once or twice a week. If successfully individuals are discipline to listen to something that brings growth in their lives daily.
How much more can we do the same? How much more we can grow if we are listening to faith teachings daily? We can develop and mature faster and thoroughly. Even more so when we are doers of the word, living it every day.
Receiving Gifts God has Given to the Church
As the individuals of those little cake balls in the picture, each it’s own unique design. God has given unique gifts to the body of Christ to equip the saints.
Read about it in Ephesians 4:10-12
Growing up, my dad, who was also my pastor, knew the importance of these gifts, So, He would invite those who operated in these gifts to come and minister to the church. I have been blessed through these different individuals gifts.
I am currently in a small home church and don’t get to be around those gifts much in person, but we have the technology to be around them through their resources.
With having the heart to seek for those who operate in those gifts, the Lord has brought individuals into my life to equip me, through their resources of teachings on a podcast and reading materials.
Do you know of individual ministers who operate in those gifts? Are you investing in yourself through resources?
Taking time to saturate ourselves in those individual gifts causes us to walk in a balanced life. It must be essential for us to surround ourselves with those gifts if Jesus has given them to us.
Ask the Lord to show you different ministers who operate in those individual gifts. And, saturate yourself through their resources. You will be blessed.
