I have made a list of books that have been an inspiration and encouragement in my life. I want to share them with you, hoping they will be an encouragement for you.
“The Word of God”
God’s Word has to be the final authority in our lives. God’s Word has to override any opinion, experiences, and beliefs of men.
If we make the Word be our daily food of reading and meditating day and night, it will cause our ways to be prosperous and successful.
This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall read [and meditate on] it day and night, so that you may be careful to do [everything] in accordance with all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will be successful. – Joshua 1:8 (AMP)
I read in different translations, but I use New King James and Amplified and The Passion Translation as my main ones.
“The Power of Your Words”
by Don Gossett and E.W. Kenyon
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. Proverbs 18:21 (AMP)
God created this world through His spoken words and throughout His written word He talks about there is power in our words. We say to the mountain….we have what we say… it’s not what goes in the mouth that defiles, but what comes out of the mouth.
This book talks in details about the power of our words and how it affects our lives. You are where you are today, because of your words from yesterday. f you talk words of defeat, you will live a defeated life. When you speak words of victory, you will live a victorious life.
“The Life of Faith”
by Mrs. Cornelia Nuzum
No one knows anything about her husband and family, but she was a missionary to Mexico. She also worked with Carrie Judd Montgomery.
The book is so inspirational, I have several copies, and I keep one in my purse.
The book covers how to walk daily in faith with Christ. She shares from her experiences and God’s Word to help others endure temptation, find strength, experience God’s will, and attain the fullness of life.
“The Authority of the Believer”
by John A. MacMillan
“The Blood and the Glory”
by Billye Brim
I recommend reading the Authority of the Believer and The Blood and Glory together. . Both of these books taught me the authority I have given by God to walk in. And the power of Jesus blood to cover over my life and family’s life.
These books, besides the Bible, helped me doing a very dark time of my life.
“The Believer’s Authority”
by Kenneth Hagin
In this book you will discover:
The prayers of Paul. Our authority and how to exercise it in our lives. How to break the power of the devil. The weapons of our warfare.

Are you running the spiritual race God has set before you? If you are trying to run someone else’s race or a race of your choosing, you are missing the mark. You have a high calling to run the race and finish the course God has uniquely designed for you.
