I have, too, but I am learning not to anymore.
The secret is turning it all to Him and giving Him all worries, anxiety, and stress, leaving it in His hands.
Our bodies are not created to carry it all but yield to the helping hand of Jesus.
His desire is for us to ask Him for help. He is waiting before us with outstretched hands, willing to help and take it all for us.
So many times, we may give it to Him, but only for a moment, then take it back and wonder why our bodies are breaking down before it’s time.
Do we truly understand how worry is a sin, and we are to live a repented lifestyle of surrendering it all to Him?
Those who say worry is natural or healthy, or because we are only human, don’t honestly know and understand the depth of the Heavenly Father’s love and His Word.
The Heavenly Father tells us in His Word not to worry or be anxious but to trust and rely on Him. It’s His love that sustains us.
Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life, Philippians 4:6
Unfortunately, no matter how much we don’t want to hear this, we are in sin when we worry, for anything that’s not of faith is sin, for the just shall live by faith.
For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.
We are also responsible for caring for our bodies by eating healthy nutrition to balance our hormones and the health we receive daily from the medicine of God’s Word for our souls.
I am telling you, it’s a fight to stay in peace and resist worrying. But, the more we fight to remain in peace, the more comfortable and quicker we can do so.
Don’t Worry
Never say you can’t give up worry, or it’s your nature to do so. We have what we say. Our words should say, I resist your fear and choose to stay in peace.
Worrying for our spouse and children won’t help them but cause more harm, opening the door for the demonic spirits to bring destruction.
Remaining in peace, speaking the Word of God and the blood of Jesus, and protecting Angels over them will manifest God’s promises of long life and safety.
When we wake up with sweat worrying or sense it rising during the day, we quickly resist it and stand on God’s Word.
If we are wallowing in worry, we quickly repent and ask the Holy Spirit to show us where we are, opening the door to it.
I am telling you, working to stay in peace by standing on God’s Word is much better than staying in worry.
Not focusing on the chaos or troubles or challenges around us but focusing on passionately pursuing God’s Heart is so much more rewarding.
That’s what the apostles in the Bible had to do. They faced many demanding challenges but resisted worry and stayed in peace, knowing the time here on earth was only for a moment rather than eternity in Heaven.
