What do you like about your favorite Holiday the most?

What I like about Christmas

I like all of the twinkle lights, the warm white ones, and all the colored ones.

I like the beautiful trees with colorful, shiny ornaments, especially the ones that glitter from the reflection of the twinkling lights.

I like the different sizes of boxes wrapped in pretty wrapping paper with beautiful bows on them.

I like seeing the town light up with pretty lights and Christmas decorations.

I like how, during this time, people are happier and giving toward each other.

Christmas is my favorite season to decorate my house.

The thing I like about Christmas

My family is together. We don’t have any current unique traditions. Does your family have unique traditions?

When the kids were growing up, I enjoyed buying them gifts and watching them receive them with joy on their sweet faces.

Now, with them as young adults and I not seeing them every day, being with them is one of the greatest gifts I ask for from them, just being with them, in each other’s presence, enjoying each other.

I look forward to a few years when grandbabies come and spending time with them, making new memories with them, and bringing back memories of when my precious kids were babies.

The number one reason I like Christmas

I love celebrating my precious, beloved Jesus. He came down to earth and left His high position to take the form of a man to redeem us.

His love is the greatest gift we can receive.

He is the greatest, purest, most beautiful present I have ever received, and I cherish my daily communion with Him.

Cherish every moment

Cherish every moment with your family and especially with your precious Jesus. You will never have that moment again.

Remember why Christmas started?

Don’t allow stress to override your Christmas Season.

Take it easy, let it be simple, and enjoy making memories.
