Hi, Dear Friend, I am so grateful you are here.
This little online home, Heart Talks with Kristi, was born from a quiet, deep desire in my heart — a longing to sit heart-to-heart with women who love Jesus… or who long to love Him more. Women who feel that gentle stirring within to grow their warrior heart, to draw closer, to pursue Him more deeply, to live the story He lovingly wrote for them, and to run their race with endurance and grace.
Truly, this is simply a place to sit together for a while.
A place for honest conversation. For quiet strengthening. For developing a warrior heart.
Over the years, I’ve served in many seasons and roles, and I’ve learned something tender and true: growth in Christ happens both in the stillness at His feet and in the steady training of everyday faithfulness.
I haven’t arrived. I haven’t perfected this journey of faith. But I am pressing on — still learning, still surrendering, still seeking to know Him more and live fully for His glory.
And I would love to press on together.
My heart is to create a space that feels like we’re sitting across the table from one another — where truth is spoken gently, prayer is offered freely, and we leave strengthened for whatever the Lord has placed before us.
Here, we invite one another back to our first love — to sit at His feet, to listen for His voice, and to walk closely with Him each day, developing the warrior heart we are. Through Scripture, prayer, honest reflection, and intentional teaching, we encourage one another to pursue Him with tender devotion, to live the story He carefully wrote, and to run the race with steady, steadfast faith.
I long to see us rooted deeply in truth, strengthened through surrender, and quietly trained for the journey ahead — tender in spirit, yet carrying a courageous warrior heart, unshakable in faith — giving Him all the glory every step of the way.
So here is the heart behind it all — cultivating a steady warrior heart that learns to:
Develop a Warrior Heart –
Learning to walk with courage, resilience, and surrender.
A heart that trusts God in every season, stands firm in faith, and grows through prayer, refining, and grace.
Pursue His Heart –
Drawing close to God and becoming a lover of His presence and His Word.
Listening for His voice, seeking His ways, and allowing His love to shape your life.
Live Your Story –
Embracing the unique story God lovingly wrote for you.
Walking in your calling, trusting His leading, and living with faith, purpose, and authenticity.
Run Your Race –
Persevering with endurance and devotion.
Staying faithful in the journey, fixing your eyes on Christ, and finishing the race with joy and glory to Him.
If your heart longs to draw nearer to Him…
If you desire to grow steady and strong in faith…
If you want to live fully for His glory…
Then come. Sit with me.
There’s a warm cup waiting for you.
Who am I?
I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and your friend. I’ve faced many challenges in life, from overcoming disabilities to enduring hardships, but through it all, I’ve learned to lean on God and grow closer to Him.
I come from a legacy of faith, having grown up as a pastor’s kid, and I’ve spent forty years serving the Body of Christ in various roles. I am ordained in ministry. Now, I want to encourage you to live in your divine purpose and plan, as God has written.
With my loving husband, Joseph, we have made Texas our home state as we embrace this season of RVing life. We have traveled from the West Coast to the East Coast and back again.

My Motto Scriptures
“Run With Passion Into His Purpose.”
Philippians 3:12-16
Amplified Translation
12 Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on [a]so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own
13 [Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15 All of us who are mature [pursuing spiritual perfection] should have this attitude. And if in any respect you have a different attitude, that too God will make clear to you.
16 Only let us stay true to what we have already attained.
Passion Translation
12 I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into His abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover
13 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however, I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.
14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory prize through the anointing of Jesus.
15 So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them.
16 And let us all advance together to reach this victory prize, following one path with one passion.
Develop a Warrior Heart. Pursue His Heart. Live Your Story. Run the Race.
